what love does exist
that bring shame to my heart
dishonors my Lord and Savior
and breaks me apart?
it is the love of self
unyielding and absurd
one that must be harnessed
by the light of His word
dear and loving Savior
wrap Your heart around mine
be my devotion and affection
that my soul would thus shine
